Heather Soriano

CEO

Miss Soriano’s early involvement in philanthropic fundraising focused on literacy, family health, and wellness. She collaborated with organizations like JDRF, Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society, CASA, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, and other literacy programs. Additionally, she’s supported Alzheimer’s treatment and organizations that support our troops, like American Gold Star Mothers, AMVETS, and participated in a USO tour.

A two-time Miss Mississippi, Miss Soriano leveraged pageantry to advocate for causes like children’s literacy and foster collaboration for greater impact. She won several national titles, including Miss Mississippi America 1999 and Miss Mississippi USA 2002, and has been involved in pageants as a competitor, judge, host, and coach.

A significant part of Miss Soriano’s advocacy focuses on supporting single mothers. In April 2022, she founded the nonprofit ‘Single Not Alone’ to benefit single mothers and their children, where she serves as president and board member. Heather currently lives in Franklin, Tennessee, where she roots for the Crimson Tide and raises two very active and athletic children, along with a menagerie of adopted animals.

Bernie Youngblood

President

Mr. Youngblood got his start in finance, but would soon pivot to the arena of sales and marketing – a tour that would include a number of entrepreneurial ventures. He’s launched national marketing programs, executed corporate spin-offs, built boot-strap start-ups, and kick-started an international distribution organization. He’s been recognized as a subject matter expert in a variety of fields, and worked with the Fortune 500 as a management consultant.

Never being one to follow the rules, Bernie’s redefined the way companies, and in one case, an entire industry, view – and market – their products. It was during this time, when he was invited to join his first non-profit board, that the seeds for his second career pivot were planted. After much reflection, he made the decision to launch a boutique marketing firm to deliver special projects that bridge the gap between for-profits, non-profits, and artist communities.

Bernie currently lives in Troy, Michigan with his wife of 29 years, and when he’s not working with his two adult sons in their own pursuits, he’s volunteering his time and energy to one of three causes: the fight against human trafficking, promoting women’s rights, and supporting childhood development programs.

Daniel F. Percey II

Advisory Board Chair

When not engaged in the relentless pursuit of client satisfaction, you can catch Dan on the golf course, reading a good book, or volunteering his time, money, and expertise to various charitable causes and professional development organizations.
